Small Town Sandhills

Summertime is arguably one of the best times to be in the sandhills. The lush green hills, unique small towns, and friendly faces everywhere are what make the sandhills so special. We got the chance to take some photos for the Sandhills Ranch Expo, an event organized by ranchers, for ranchers. The day was filled with hard-working ranchers and their mini-me's in tow.

As the sunset set over the little town of Bassett, Nebraska, the rough stock challenge began. The small sandhills town more than doubled in population for just a few hours during this event.
